WORLD WEAVER’S FORUM 2019 (Curtain Raiser)
IAMKHAADII FOUNDATION and FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO), Ludhiana in collaboration with ARYA BHARAT (NGO), KHADI AND VILLAGE INDUSTRIES COMMISSION (KVIC), CENTRAL SILK BOARD (CSB) and TRIFED (M/o Tribal Affairs) has organized its first WORLD WEAVER’S FORUM on Saturday, 20th April 2019 at Hotel Park Plaza, Ludhiana with an aim at creation of a product and design ecosystem of national and international producers, artisans, retailers, fashion designers and technical experts to work together to create uniquely fresh product ideas for both Indian and global consumers. The global forum would explore the possibilities of both inter – state fusions of various art forms on handloom and KHADI as well as cross country fusions of art forms.
ANJU MODI, Founding Member, FDCI and Shri. R. R. OKHANDIAR (IFS), CEO and Member Secretary, Central Silk Board (Ministry of Textile, Govt. of India) has inaugurated the event.

WEAVING Peace
IAMKHAADII FOUNDATION in association with World Trade Centre Mumbai & ARYA BHARAT (NGO) has organized “WEAVING PEACE” is a two day event (10-11th October 2019) which has an exhibition of KHADI and sustainable products by weavers from across India at World Trade Centre Mumbai. It is an initiative to uphold Gandhiji’s philosophy of peace & progress, equality, diversity, inclusion & sustainability.
WEAVING PEACE (a showcase on sustainable weaves and handmade fabrics) by renowned international designer, ARCHANA KOCHHAR representing India and TARA BHUYAN (Toronto), MEAGAN OLLARI (New York), MANTASHA AHMED (Dhaka), on Friday, 10th October, 2019 on eve of celebration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Weave in peace
IAMKHAADII FOUNDATION in association with ARYA BHARAT (NGO) & ELITE VAISH PARIWAR has organized “WEAVE IN PEACE”, the sustainable fashion show which was presented by ace designers like Rosy Ahuwalia (DIKHA KHADI), Kunal & Suruchi Seth (DIEUU & ORR) Krityana Gupta (ABIGAIL CLOTHING).
We have promoted a social cause like SAVE BETI BACHO, BETI PADHAO, SKILL DEVELOPMENT, SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT, SAVE THE WATER, SAY NO TO PLASTIC, RURAL DEVELOPMENT, NO TO DOWRY, SAVE THE HANDICRAFT, SAVE THE HANDLOOM, MAKE IN INDIA. TO SUPPORT ARTISANS, WEAVERS AND MAKE IN INDIA.
